Occasionally I like to include a small stylized bird in my paintings. Sometimes they are just blended in with the background, sometimes they are a more important part of the whole message. I wanted to paint a skateboard deck that showcased some of these birds. The deck has been painted with acrylics, then clear coated with a protective lacquer. – Bryan Collins.
